Custom Engagement Rings in Boynton Beach
Some rings are bought from the case. Others start as a picture on a phone — a ring seen somewhere that is almost right, but not in the right metal, or with the wrong stone, or at a size nobody stocks. Custom work is how that picture becomes a ring. Custom engagement rings are one of the most-searched jewelry services in the country, and most of the questions people bring us are the same: how does it actually work, and what should I bring? Here is the process at our store, step by step.

What "custom" means here
It means the ring is made around the stone and the design you choose, instead of you choosing from what happens to be in stock. You are not limited to the combinations in the case — the stone, the setting style, and the metal are picked to go together. Our custom jewelry page covers custom work beyond engagement rings as well.
The process, in three steps
1. Bring a photo of the ring you have in mind. A screenshot, a saved post, a photo of a ring in a window — any clear picture is a starting point. It does not need to be a ring we carry. The photo tells us the shape, the setting style, and the details you want kept or changed.
2. Choose the stone together. With the design settled, we look at stones for it in the store — the shape from your photo, in sizes that fit your budget, natural or lab-grown. You see the actual stones side by side rather than picking from a listing. Our Engagement Ring Guide walks through shapes, setting styles, and metals if you want to narrow things down before the visit.
3. The stone is set into the finished ring. Once the stone is chosen, it is set into the finished ring — the ring from your photo, made to be worn.

See the finished combination before it is made
The hardest part of a custom ring is picturing it. Our store has a section made for exactly that: a diamond top magnetically attaches to different band types, so one top can be snapped onto several bands and tried on. You see the real combination on a real hand — this stone, on that band — before anything is made. People often come in set on one pairing and leave preferring another they would never have picked from a photo.

What to bring to a first visit
- The photo. The ring you have in mind, on your phone is fine. More than one photo is fine too — a shape from one ring and a band from another is a normal starting point.
- Her ring size, if you know it. If the proposal is a surprise, our Ring Size Guide has quiet ways to find a size at home. If you do not know it, come anyway — it does not stop the first conversation.
- A budget range you are comfortable with. It decides which stones we pull to look at, and it is easier to choose between real stones in front of you than between numbers on a screen.
- Your questions. How long a piece takes depends on the piece itself, so that is a question to put to us in the store with your design in front of us — the same goes for cost, which follows the stone and the work the design needs. Call the store at (561) 739-3339 or use our contact page if you want to ask before coming in.
Not sure custom is the way to go?
Plenty of people start with a photo and end up finding the ring, or something very close to it, among rings already made — and that ring can be tried on and taken home without any wait at all. Use the ring finder in our bridal collection to filter by shape and metal first. If the exact combination you want is not there, that is what the custom process is for.
